Duties & Responsibilities
1. Performance Management and Accountability:
- Set operational KRSs, KPIs, goals, and expectations for Regional Stores.
- Monitor sales, profitability, and KPIs, ensuring overall performance achieve targets.
2. Staffing, Development, and Succession Planning:
- Recruit, coach, and develop a skilled team for well-trained and competent staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and identify potential successors within the region.
3. Operational Excellence and Standards:
- Enforce consistent operational standards, including policies, planogram, promotions, pricing, inventory management, halal and food safety regulations.
- Optimize processes and identify areas for improvement across regional stores.
4. Sales and Marketing Support:
- Assist marketing teams in implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences to improve sales and enhance customer engagement.
5. Cost Management and Inventory Control:
- Implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Develop and enforce measures to reduce wastage and shrinkage, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing profitability.
- Regularly analyze inventory reports to identify trends, implement cost-saving measures, and maintain an optimal and cost-effective operation.
6. Financial Management and Reporting:
- Develop, plan, and manage budgets for each regional store.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze reports on store performance and KPIs, and provide regular updates to higher management.
7. Communication, Leadership, and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between HQ and regional stores, ensuring effective communication on company objectives and changes.
- Lead, motivate, and empower staff through open communication, feedback, and team building. Collaborate with other regional managers and department heads to share best practices and contribute to overall company success.
8. Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with landlords, building management, and council.
- Establish open lines of communication to address concerns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to foster a positive working environment and address any operational or facility-related issues promptly.
