Assistant Manager - Operation Support

Role Responsibilities
1. Performance Analysis: The Performance Controller collects and analyzes data related to store operations, including sales figures, shrinkage, labor hours, ordering, and process compliances. They assess the performance of individual stores or the entire retail chain against established targets and benchmarks.
2. KPI Monitoring: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are essential metrics that measure the success of a store's operations. The Performance Controller tracks and monitors KPIs such as customer satisfaction scores, complaints, sales, cost, process, people performance and compliances. They use this information to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
3. Performance Reporting: The Performance Controller prepares regular reports and dashboards that summarize the operational performance of the stores. These reports often include data-driven insights, recommendations, and comparisons to previous periods and action items for follow up. They communicate these findings to senior management and field managers.
4. Process Improvement: By analyzing operational data and identifying performance gaps, the Performance Controller suggests and implements process improvements to optimize store operations. This could involve streamlining inventory management, optimizing staffing levels, improving visual merchandising, or enhancing customer service protocols.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting: The Performance Controller plays a vital role in budgeting and forecasting activities for store operations. They provide insights and data to assist in the creation of realistic budgets and forecasted sales targets. They also monitor actual performance against the budget and provide variance analysis to explain deviations.
6. Training and Support: The Performance Controller may provide training and support to store managers and staff on operational processes, systems, and best practices. They ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and contribute to overall operational excellence.
7. Overall, the Store Operations Performance Controller plays a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, improving performance, and maximizing profitability within retail stores or chains. Their analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and address operational bottlenecks make them valuable contributors to the success of a retail organization.
8. Experience with power BI and KPI performance tracking a plus. Data driven, analytical and detailed oriented.

Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.
2. Proven experience as a business intelligence analyst or similar role, preferably in a corporate.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into meaningful insights.
4. Proficient in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, BI, PP, and etc.
5. Knowledge of fraud prevention is a plus point.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical departments.
7. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
