Executive - Food Development And Merchandising

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in new product development, including sample preparation, sensory evaluations, product shelf-life and stability studies, reheating procedures, equipment SOP testing, and other related tasks.

  • Maintain proper operation of the test kitchen by ensuring workspace cleanliness, equipment upkeep, materials management, and adherence to safety standards.

  • Support QC sample evaluations, maintain accurate records, assist in new product initiatives, and update SOP documentation as required.

  • Execute assigned food development tasks to meet product launch timelines.

  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinology Science, or related field.

  • Background in the F&B industry will be an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of Food Safety is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Must be willing to work in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, and possess own transportation.
