Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks for assigned categories.
- Source and evaluate new products while reviewing existing assortments to ensure relevance, competitiveness, and alignment with category strategy.
- Work closely with suppliers on product planning, pricing, promotional activities, and marketing support to drive category growth.
- Collaborate with the reporting manager on category planning, sales review, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics, translating insights into actionable steps to support merchandising strategy and achieve company KPIs.
- Conduct regular category performance reviews and propose improvements in assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Support product development initiatives, including private label or exclusive products, where applicable
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks given as assigned
