Assistant Manager – Operations Support (Data Analytics)

The Operations Support Assistant Manager (Data Analysis Focus) is responsible for supporting operational efficiency through data-driven insights and analytics. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational data to optimize workflows, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collects and analyzes data related to store operations, including sales figures, shrinkage, labor hours, ordering, and process compliances
  • Prepares regular reports and dashboards that summarize the operational performance of the stores Collaborate with teams to optimize processes based on data insights and predictive analytics.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for operational challenges and provide recommendation to optimize store operation
  • Plays a vital role in budgeting and forecasting activities for store operations. Provide insights and data to assist in the creation of realistic budgets and forecasted sales targets.
  • Provide training and support to field managers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Support data-driven decision-making through in-depth reports and presentations
  • Regular meeting with BI team for any new reporting layout or enhancement
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical departments.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Proven experience as a business intelligence analyst or similar role, preferably in a corporate
  • Experience with AI-powered analytics
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, BI, PP, and etc.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention is a plus point.
